You can follow the steps below to enable and view poster images in the Outlook app:
In the Outlook desktop app, navigate to File > Options > Trust Center.
Under Microsoft Outlook Trust Center, click Trust Center Settings.
Click Automatic Download and disable all the options.
Click OK to save the changes.
