Introduction

The PhishArm plug-in enables your employees to report suspicious emails directly from their Gmail account irrespective of the browser they might be using to open the email (i.e, Chrome, Edge, Safari, etc.) This tool provides your IT team with early warnings about potential threats and is integrated with our simulated phishing campaigns in the CyberReady portal.

Installation Guide

Option 1: Install for Your Entire Domain

  1. Log in to your Google Workspace Admin account and go to Apps

2. Go to Google Workspace Marketplace apps → Apps List → Click on Install App

4. Search for "PhishArm" or click on this to directly go to phishArm page: Link.

5. Click on the app and click “Admin Install"

8. Ensure that the app access is granted

User Experience

The PhishArm add-on works both on the Browser and on the Gmail mobile app. On the browser It shows up as a new add-on on the right-hand side add-on panel (as shown below). In the Gmail Mobile app it appears when users open an email and scroll down to the bottom of the email.

Users cannot report emails from Spam or Trash folders; these must be moved to the inbox first.

Additional Information

PhishArm uses internal validation to identify simulated phishing emails. Reported Simulation emails are moved to deleted/bin/trash folder, logged internally and auto-resolved in PhishArm tool in Cyberready.right-hand.ai.
