Fortinet's FortiGate web filter enables configuring access to Right Hand's phishing and landing domains. To resolve user access challenges, especially post-failed phishing tests, add Right Hand to FortiGate's web filter whitelist. If you encounter issues with whitelisting in FortiGate, we recommend contacting them directly for guidance.

Whitelisting via the Static URL Filter

Add our phish and landing domains to your FortiGate firewall's Static URL Filter list to allow access. FortiGate's web filter permits specified URLs.

  1. Access your Fortinet account by logging in.

  2. Go to Security Profiles > Web Filter.

  3. Set up a new web filter or choose an existing one to modify.

  4. Open Static URL Filter, activate URL Filter, and click on Create.

  5. Input the URLs without including "https". For instance, type www.example.com.

6. Choose Type: Simple.

7. Choose the Action for matching URLs: Allow.

8. Ensure that the Status is enabled.

Note: After completing the steps outlined in this article, we suggest conducting a test phishing campaign for 1-2 users to confirm the success of your whitelisting. If needed, consider contacting your service provider for assistance as a final option.

Fortinet provides an alternative whitelisting solution known as Web rating overrides, suitable for organizations utilizing FortiGuard categories. For more information, refer to Fortinet's article on Web rating overrides.
