1. Steps for PingOne Portal Configuration

  1. Login as PingOne Admin.

  2. Goto Connections → Applications.

  3. Click on ADD Application.

  4. Provide the Application Name.

  5. Choose SAML Application from the option.

  6. Choose Manually Enter.

  7. Copy the SSO Sign In URL from RH Settings → Configuration → Add Integration and Paste in ACS URLs.

  8. Entity ID is the same as ACS URLs and Save.

  9. Under the Attributes Mapping tab, Click on EDIT update the saml_subject value to Email Address, and click on Save.

  10. Finally, click on the Enable button to enable the Configuration.

2. Steps to Download XML

  1. Open the newly added Application.

  2. Goto Configurations tab.

  3. Users can download the Metadata & Certificate.

3. Steps to Input Values Manually

  1. Open the newly added Application.

  2. Goto Configurations tab.

  3. Users can download the Metadata & Certificate.

IdP SSO Entry Point

  • Single Signon Service

Issuer

  • Issuer ID

IdP Cert Fingerprint (.Pem File)

  • download as .crt

  • Open as any text document and obtain the certificate value

4. Steps for PingOne Integration in RH using XML

  1. Goto SettingsIntegrationAdd Integration.

  2. Choose Select IdP as Ping Identity.

  3. Provide a Valid IdP Integration Name.

  4. Use the XML file to upload in the Upload XML Metadata file.

  5. After successful upload, this will automatically fill the remaining 3 fields

    1. IdP SSO Entry Point

    2. Issuer

    3. IdP Cert Fingerprint (.Pem File)

  6. Click on Save.

  7. Newly added Integration will be listed in the Connectors list.
