1. Steps for Jumpcloud Configuration

  1. Login to Jumpcloud → SSO → Add New Application.

  2. Choose SAML 2.0 from the list of options.

  3. Under the Enter General Info tab, Provide Display Label and click Save Application.

  4. Copy SSO Sign In URL from Cyberready → Settings → Integrations → Add Integration → SAML Parameters.

    a. Goto SSO tab, use the copied value for the below 3 fields.

    i. IdP Entity ID

    ii. SP Entity ID

    iii. ACS URLs

    b. IDP URL → Provide a valid name in the IDP URL field.

  5. Under User Groups, choose the users that the admin wants to add to access RightHand Portal.

6. Finally, click on Activate.

2. Steps to fetch XML Metadata

  1. Open the above-created Application from Jumpcloud.

  2. Goto SSO tab

    a. Export metadata → Clicking on this will download the XML file

    b. Copy Metadata URL → Copy and open the link in the browser and Admin can save it as XML.

3. Steps for Jumpcloud Integration in RH using Manual Inputs

  1. IDP URL → IdP SSO Entry Point.

    a.

  2. Issuer → SSO Sign In URL from Cyberready → Settings → Integrations → Add Integration → SAML.

  3. IdP Cert Fingerprint (.Pem File)

    a. Can be obtained from the Copy Metadata URL

    i. Copy and open the link in the browser

    ii. <ds:X509Certificate></ds:X509Certificate> tag contains the certificate information.

4. Steps for Jumpcloud Integration in RH using XML

  1. Goto Settings → Integration → Add Integration.

  2. Choose Select IdP as JumpCloud.

  3. Provide a Valid IdP Integration Name.

  4. Use the XML file to upload in the Upload XML Metadata field.

  5. After successful upload, this will automatically fill the remaining 3 fields

    a. IdP SSO Entry Point

    b. Issuer

    c. IdP Cert Fingerprint (.Pem File)

  6. Click on Save.

  7. Newly added Integration will be listed in the Connectors list.
