You can stop the yellow banner from appearing in the Phishing Readiness and Phishing Readiness+Training Readiness campaign emails sent to the employees by following the steps to rectify the issue:

  1. Login to your Google Admin account- https://admin.google.com/

  2. Navigate to Apps > Google For Workspace > Gmail > Safety.

  3. Scroll down to the Spoofing and authentication section and click on the edit button.

  4. Now, disable the following checkboxes before you send out the campaigns. Wait until all the campaigns are delivered and then enable them again.

a. Protect against domain spoofing based on similar domain names (if you are planning to spoof emails present in the safe sender list)

b. Protect against spoofing of employee names (if you are planning to send a campaign with the name of one of your employees)

If you don't wish to disable the options mentioned above in step 4 or if the banner still appears even after disabling, you will have to change your Sender Profile settings to avoid it falling under the spoofing category.

For example, an employee whose sender name is Sara Vadivel and whose sender email is [email protected] is used to send campaigns. You can spoof the sender name as Sara Vadvel and the sender email as [email protected] and then send the campaign emails.

Note: The Google Algorithm is dynamic and might not capture spoofing for all users based on the user history and contacts.
