Common Issues and Resolutions
Here are some common issues related to PhishArm and their resolutions.
Q1. You are logged into your Chrome browser using a different email than your business email.
It's possible that you may have logged into Chrome using an email ID that is different from your business email ID. In that event, to ensure PhishArm works as expected, please navigate to the Profile icon in the top right of your browser and log in using your business email. In this case, if you try to report any email using the PhishArm button you may encounter the below error message.
Q2. I canceled the Google account authorization screen by mistake when I tried reporting an email.
Usually, once you've authorized your Google account for PhishArm, it's not required to be done again. But occasionally, Google may prompt you to authorize your Google account once more when you try reporting an email.
If in such an event, you close or cancel the Google authorization screen by mistake, then follow the steps below to authorize it again.
a. Logout from the browser window and close it.
b. Relaunch the browser and select/login with your business email address.
c. Click on "Allow" to permit PhishArm.
d. Report the same or another email to PhishArm.
