How do I create a new training module?

Creating a new Training Readiness Module consists of two steps. They are:

Create a new training module

You can follow the steps below to create your own training module:

  1. Navigate to Products > Training Readiness > Training Module > then click +Add New.

  2. On the New Training page, enter your details as described in the following fields:

    1. Title: Type a unique name for the title of the training.

    2. Category: From the drop-down, select the category of the training module.

    3. Thumbnail(optional): Upload a thumbnail image of the content.

    4. Description: Add a description of the training module.

    5. Training complexity: Define the difficulty of the module.

    6. Targeted Departments: Select the department for which the training is designed.

  3. As you enter the details, a real-time preview appears in the Preview section. This gives you an idea of how your training will look.

  4. Click Next. This will take you to the Training Slides page, where you can add slides to the training module.

Add slides to the created training module

  1. On the Training Slides page, click +Add New.

  2. A section appears with a list of slide templates. Each slide can have multiple templates or a single template depending on your choice. You can choose the type of slides from the seven in-built templates as described below:

    1. Image- This template displays an image with a title. When you click on the image template, a new page appears with the following fields:

      1. Title: A unique name for the title of the slide.

      2. File: Drop or upload the image of your choice. The max file size is 20MB.

      3. Click Save Slide.



    2. Text- This template displays text with a title. When you click on the text template, a new page appears with the following fields:

      1. Title: A unique name for the title of the slide.

      2. Description: Type the description that would appear on the slide.

      3. Click Save Slide.


    3. Image + Text- This template displays an image and text with a title. When you click on the image + text template, a new page appears with the following fields:

      1. Title: A unique name for the title of the slide.

      2. Layout: Depending on your preference, from the Layout field, you can choose between displaying the image first or the text first.

      3. File: Drop or upload the image of your choice. The max file size is 20MB.

      4. Description: Type the description that would appear on the slide.

      5. Click Save Slide.

    4. Multiple Choice- This template displays a question with multiple options to select the correct answer (one or more correct answers are allowed). You can give up to five options and also add feedback that would appear when the wrong answer is selected by the employee. In this template, you can have multiple answers.

      1. Question: Type the question in this field.

      2. Option 1, Option 2, and so on: Type the answer here.

      3. Correct Answer: Check this box to define the right answer.

      4. You can use the + and - icons to add or delete options as shown below.

      5. Feedback for Incorrect Answer: Type the information you want to display when a question is answered incorrectly.

      6. Click Save Slide.

    5. Single Selection- This template displays a question with multiple options to select the correct answer (only one correct answer is allowed). You can give up to five options and also add feedback that would appear when the wrong answer is selected by the employee.

      1. Question: Type the question in this field.

      2. Option 1, Option 2, and so on: Type the answer here.

      3. Correct Answer: Check this box to define the right answer.

      4. You can use the + and - icons to add or delete options as shown below.

      5. Feedback for Incorrect Answer: Type the information you want to display when a question is answered incorrectly.

      6. Click Save Slide.

    6. Video- This template plays a video with a title. When you click on the video template, a new page appears with the following fields:

      1. Title: A unique name for the title of the slide.

      2. File: Drop or upload the image of your choice. Only .mp4 video format is supported. The max file size is 20MB.

      3. Click Save Slide.

    7. Audio- This template plays audio with a title. When you click on the audio template, a new page appears with the following fields:

      1. Title: A unique name for the title of the slide.

      2. File: Drop or upload the audio file of your choice. Only .mp3 .m4a .wav .aif .aac .wma .ogg audio formats are supported. The max file size is 20MB.

      3. Click Save Slide.

  3. After the slides are created, they appear on the Training Slides page. You can drag and drop the slides to rearrange their order if required.

  4. To see how the training module would appear on mobile or desktop, click the preview (eye) icon and then select between mobile or desktop view.
