The Automated Followups in Ally are designed to communicate with your employees and to encourage your employees to use Ally.

1. Go to Ally > Configurations> Automated Followups

2. Enable the toggle for Enable automated followups.

Configure the following details.

Configure the onboarding behavior and target audience of Ally using the below options.

1) Delay In Onboarding Sequence
Employees will receive any automated onboarding reminder after this interval.

2) Please select the user who will be used for these followups *
This will be the Sendername from whom the target audience will be receiving these follow-up emails.

3) TARGET AUDIENCE
Target Everyone - Enabled/Disabled

We can customize the list of audiences who should receive these followups. To do this you need to disable the target everyone option and choose the appropriate filters below.

Delay after the previous email:

This allows you to configure the delay between the current email and the previous email.

Enable this email:

This allows you to enable or disable a particular email in the sequence. By default, all the emails in the sequence are enabled. You can choose to enable or disable the emails you want.

Reset Template and Save:

Reset Template allows you to reset the email template to the original template. This is useful if you have customized the default email template and now want to revert it. Clicking on the Save button saves all the changes.

Helping Variables:

If you want to use dynamic information in the email templates, you can use helping variables. Clicking on the Helping Variables button will open up a modal that lists all the helping variables available. Copy and paste any helping variable where you want to include dynamic data. When the emails are sent, the helping variables are replaced with the actual value.

Automated Followups Email Logic

  1. Assessment Emails should not be login-driven. Assessment Emails are to be triggered against the status of the assessment.

  2. If all three Automated Followup emails are enabled the sequence should follow the delay provided within the sequence.

  3. No two Automated Followup emails should be coupled and received together. e.g. Drip Email 1 and 2.

  4. If Automated Followup Email 1 and 2 are disabled. Automated Followup Email 3 will be dispatched to the user with a delay provided against the “Delay In Onboarding Sequence” field.

  5. If Automated Followup Email 1 and 3 are enabled and 2 is disabled. Automated Followup Email 3 will be triggered based on the delay provided against “Delay after previous email”. from the first email received.

  6. If Automated Followup Email 2 and 3 are enabled and Email 1 is disabled, Automated Followup Email 2 will be dispatched based on the delay provided against against “Delay In Onboarding Sequence” field.

  7. All Automated Followup emails will only be dispatched if the assessment status is INCOMPLETE.

  8. Automated Followup emails should not be dispatched if Enable automated followups are disabled.

  9. Automated Followup emails will never be triggered if the Assessment is completed.
