This article explains how the various metrics displayed on the Ally dashboard are calculated.

What is Readiness Value in Ally?

The Readiness Value board displays the readiness of your employees toward any potential cybersecurity threats or issues. The overall score displayed on the board range from 0% (least prepared) to 100% (well prepared). All the scores are calculated considering only the enrolled employees.

A 0% score indicates that the enrolled employees are more vulnerable to cyber attacks whereas, a 100% score indicates that your employees are well-trained and cautious against any cyber attack.

What are Enrolled Users in Ally?

The Enrolled Users board displays a performance comparison of the number of enrolled employees between the current and the previous week. It also shows a list of enrolled users out of all the employees. Enrolled users here mean employees who have completed the assessment. The total users are who have completed at least one of the following activities:

  • Profile creation

  • Profile creation + Assessment

  • Profile creation + Assessment + Daily Quest

Goal Completion

The Goal Completion section displays the number of users who have completed their admin-assigned assessment(s).

You can view the metrics in percentage form as well as number form as shown below.

You can define the readiness goal by navigating to Ally > Content Management > Daily Quest Content > Required Daily Readiness Goal.

What is Average Time Spent in Ally?

The Average Time Spent board displays the average time taken by a user to complete a scenario in the current week. This section also displays a comparison of the performance from the previous week with the current week.

Goal Achievement Time

This section displays the average time taken by a user to reach their readiness goal. It also compares the performance between the current and previous week.

What is Overall Learning Curve in Ally?

The Overall Learning Curve board displays the readiness score over a period of time and describes how well employees retain the knowledge they have gained through the training. The most recent value in the curve is the current readiness score.

The values are calculated as follows:

  • Value for day '1' = Average of scores of users on day '1'

  • Value for day '2' = Average of scores of users on day '1' and '2'

  • Value for day 'n' = Average of scores of users on day '1', '2', ... , 'n'

What is User Retention in Ally?

The User Retention board displays the readiness scores retained by a group of users over an entire week. Over a week, this enables us to gauge the performance of each cohort of enrolled users and determine how effectively they retained what they learned.

What is Leaderboard in Ally?

The Leaderboard displays the ranking of users based on their performance in daily quests. You can filter and view the stats based on employees, departments, or office locations.

What is User Engagement in Ally?

The User Engagement board displays how many users were engaged with Ally at a particular time of the day. Additionally, it highlights when the engagement is at its peak throughout the day, based on the time zone. The timezone can be defined under Management > Settings > Company > Basics.

What is Category Readiness Score in Ally?

The Category Readiness Score board compares the readiness score for each category within a domain to determine the overall performance of the company.

You can use the drop-down to view the readiness score of other categories.

The score is categorized in different colors for all the domains; a green color score indicates good, orange is average, and red is defined as a bad score. The category with the worst score in a domain is highlighted.
